Degenkolb provided structural design services associated with the voluntary seismic upgrade and tenant improvements for this Confidential Technology Company’s Lab Building in Sunnyvale, California. The seismic retrofit scope included out-of-plane wall anchorage, cross-ties and roof diaphragm strengthening. The tenant improvements scope included a very large new steel mechanical platform and seismic anchorage design of new MEP equipment and various other architectural features.
