Corporate Seismic Programs

WHAT WE DID

For many of these clients, our Corporate Seismic Programs are customized to the specific safety, business continuity and growth needs of each client

Degenkolb offers a record of successful development and implementation of corporate seismic programs for prominent technology, life sciences, food and beverage, financial, and manufacturing companies. For many of these clients, our Corporate Seismic Programs are customized to the specific safety, business continuity, and growth needs of each client. These programs may address hundreds of buildings ranging in use from office, R&D, manufacturing, and warehouse or be targeted for specific critical infrastructure, such as a key manufacturing facility.

As part of these programs, we generally screen the client’s partial or entire building inventory to determine if the buildings meet the client’s desired seismic performance and identify deficiencies with each. We then help our clients prioritize detailed seismic evaluations and retrofits based on the building’s importance to the client and those posing the highest risk. We often consolidate the seismic risk information into a database for future capital planning purposes. Additional key corporate seismic program services include the following:

  • Program Development and Program Management
  • Development of Corporate Seismic Guidelines
  • Pre-lease and Pre-purchase Evaluations
  • Seismic Evaluations
  • Seismic Retrofits
  • Tenant Improvements
  • Critical Equipment Support Structures & Anchorage
  • Post-Earthquake Inspection and Training
