Designed the seismic retrofit and renovation of this 34,600 square foot, two-story physical science lab for life sciences. Renovation also includes a new dental hygiene clinic. Added a one-story addition and new elevator core/stairwell. Retrofit included new exterior plywood shear walls with anchored brick veneer and the replacement of tension only rod bracing, as well as the addition of new interior plywood shear walls. This $9 million project was completed in 2005 for the Contra Costa Community College District.
