Working for Kaiser Permanente and their general contractor, Degenkolb established demolition criteria for Kaiser Oakland Hospital and reviewed the demolition plan and calculations prepared by the demolition sub-contractor for completeness, process, effectiveness, and seismic safety. The building is a fourteen-story steel frame building that is surrounded by various smaller buildings that will also be demolished.
