WHAT WE DID

North Elementary School, New Classroom Building, Tracy, CA

Degenkolb provided structural engineering for the New Classroom Building at North Elementary School in Tracy, CA. The new, 25,000-square-foot, two-story classroom structure includes administrative offices, nine classrooms, four Kindergarten classes, a seismically separated 3,800-square-foot library, and ancillary spaces. Both structures are wood-framed with a lateral resisting-system consisting of wood shear walls.
